The president elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that he is not backing any candidate for the leadership of the forthcoming 10th National Assembly.
He made this revelation on Monday, March 13 while addressing Senators elect at a meeting put in place by the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The party also admonished the newly elected lawmakers to work for the emrgence of governorship candidates contesting on the platform of the party next Saturday.
The Vice President elect, Senator Kashim Shettima revealed the position of the president elect to the newly elected Senators.
The Informant247 recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election.
According to INEC, Tinubu came victorious with 8.8 million votes.
The presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar came second with 6.9 million votes.
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, had 6.1 million votes.
