Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that he is prepared to tackle the challenges facing the country if elected in the 2023 general election.
The former Lagos state governor who stated this on Saturday at the unveiling of the Tinubu/Shettima Door to Door Group.
He noted that all it takes to fix the problems of Nigeria is a focused leadership armed with competence and capacity.
Tinubu further promised to turn Nigeria into a country that future generations would be proud of.
The Informant247 had reported that Tinubu emerged as the All Progressives Congress’ Presidential candidate with 1,271 votes at the party’s ongoing special convention.
According to the report, the former governor of Lagos accumulated more votes than the other contestants.
Runner-up, former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi scored 316 votes and second runner-up, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo scored 235 votes.
Senate President, Ahmed Lawan scored 152 votes, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello scored 47 votes, and Cross River State Gover, Ben Ayade scored 37 votes.
