Mason Greenwood would have to wait for the decision of Manchester United on his next move after hew was cleared of all the charges leveled against him for an alleged attempted rape and assault against a woman.
The development was a big relief for the Manchester United Young star who had been moving in and out of court since January 2022.
United in a statement on Friday said it would have to conduct its own process especially on the re-integration of the forward.
“Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped.
“The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps. We will not make any further comment until that process is complete.”
However, Manager Ten Hag has declined to comment on the new development of the 22-year-old English striker.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, he said he can only refer to the club statement.
Anything to say on Greenwood : “No. Nothing. I can’t add nothing, I refer to the statement of the club.”
“As I said, in this moment, I can’t give comment about the process.” He said when asked if he was part of the process.
