Gov’ship Poll: We’ll win Kano just as we captured Nigeria — Gov. Ganduje
The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has said he’s confident that his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), will come victorious in the governorship election in the State, as it did in the February 25 presidential election.
He made this revelation at the Government House in Kano shortly after he came back from his hometown on Saturday.
“I went and cast my votes in my country home and it was orderly where I voted. The voter turnout was impressive compared to the presidential election,” he said.
He said turn out was great and the presence of security agents at strategic points of the state was impressive.
He described the election as a peaceful one, as people cast their votes without any iota of trouble.
