Gov El-Rufai welcomes Tinubu to Kaduna ahead of presidential campaign
The presidential flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has reached Kaduna State, ahead of the official inauguration of his presidential campaign rally for North-Western part of Nigeria.
The APC has scheduled Tuesday for the commencement of the presidential campaign rally.
The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Monday received and welcomed the APC chieftain to his state.
In company of the presidential flagbearer were top party stakeholders who were led by the Governor of Plateau State, who’s also the Director-General of the campaign, Simon Lalong.
The Informant247 learned that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State among others were also in company of the presidential candidate.
The Informant247 observes that the presidential chieftain of the party is working towards succeeding president Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The Informant247 also observes that the major contenders in the 2023 presidential race are: Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC; Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP; Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP; Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP among others.
