Gov. AbdulRazaq retains SSG, dissolves cabinet
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has on Thursday, 31st of December 2020 dissolved his cabinet with immediate effect and in the same course extended gratitude to ex-members.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye on Sunday, January 3, stating that the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Sabah Jubril retains his seat as the State Governor commends dissolved cabinet members for their contributions to the development of the state, wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
AbdulRazaq directed former members of the cabinet to hand over to most senior officers in their respective ministries.
Recall that, on the 14th of December 2019, the cabinet comprising 56.25% female and others Male were sworn in, having the country’s youngest commissioner and it adjudged it as the most gender-sensitive cabinet on the African Continent.
