The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reassured its commitment to the welfare of the state retirees.
The Governor represented by his Deputy, Mr. Kayode Alabi said this on Tuesday during the fourth send forth for retired permanent secretaries in the Kwara State Civil Service at the Banquet Hall, Ilorin.
Speaking at the event, the governor appreciated the efforts of the retired permanent secretaries and thanked them for their quality and purposeful contribution to government programmes.
He advised the former permanent secretaries to see themselves as statesmen who could be consulted by the state on issues related to governance.
For her part, the Kwara State Head of Service, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole admonished the retired permanent secretaries to continue to deploy their skills, experiences, and management acumen to adding value to themselves and the state.
Oluwole appreciated the retired permanent secretaries for their exemplary service and outstanding contribution to governance.
Alhaji Tajudeen Adebayo Yinusa, who responded on behalf of the retired permanent secretaries, expressed their profound appreciation to the Kwara State Government and the civil service for the honour they have shown to them and promised to be available to render their assistance when needed.
