God has chosen Atiku to be President – Iyorchia Ayu amid PDP crisis

Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said that the presidential candidate of the party has been chosen as the next President of Nigeria.

Ayu revealed that God has chosen Atiku as the president of Nigeria to neutralize the problems facing Nigeria.

The National Chairman made this revelation yesterday in Bauchi while welcoming those who decamped to the party.

The former federal lawmaker said God has chosen Atiku to unite the country.

While noting that the Northeastern part of the country has never produced Nigeria’s president, he said: “But today, God has chosen Atiku Abubakar, who is a son of the Northeast, to correct all the challenges bedeviling the nation and unify it.”

He has given assurance to the decampees that they have benefits to enjoy belonging to the PDP.

He said those who are trying to cause havoc and misunderstanding in the party would be disappointed.

”There are enemies of the party who are determined to cause division among us by uttering all sorts of lies against us. I want to tell you that they will be disappointed because at the end of the day, members of this party will come out en masse and vote.

“All our National Assembly, governorship candidates will come back to the office. Having stayed out of power for eight years, the PDP will be returned to power,” he said.

The Informant247 observes that misunderstanding has continued to rock the party, as some chieftains of the party have been calling for the removal of Ayu, following the victory of Atiku at the party’s presidential poll.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike has been championing the call for Ayu’s removal.

The Governor has revealed that the presidential candidate and the national chairman of the party cannot come from the same region.
