The former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has joined citizens of the world to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth of England.
Saraki has via a condolence message, referred to Queen Elizabeth as a distinguished Queen, stateswoman, and an embodiment of royal grace.
Saraki said, “the longest-serving British Monarch, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s reign on the throne of her forebears will always be remembered for the remarkable achievements of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Nations.
“Today, we join the world to mourn the passing of this renowned monarch, matriarch of a great nation, distinguished stateswoman, and an embodiment of royal grace.
“We remember her sophistication, her dignity, and how she committed her life to the service of her nation, the world, and all its people.
“My family and I send our deepest condolences to King Charles III and the entire Royal Family. She will be greatly missed.”
