Flyover: Contractor announces traffic diversion ahead of construction works in Tanke
The JMK Construction Company Limited handling the Tanke Flyover project has informed motorists, trycircle operators, commercial motorcycle riders, popularly called Okada and other road users that there will be a diversion along Tanke Garage Roundabout area in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
In a statement released by the Managing Director of JMK Construction Company, Chief Faysal Harb, he said that the diversion of route will enable the Contractor handling the project to embark fully on the construction work which has commenced without hinderances.
He said: “As a result of this diversion, which will take effect from Sunday , (28/11/2021) an alternative route has been carved out for the use of those plying the road where the construction work is taking place.”
“Motorists and other road users plying Tanke Tipper Garage Junction Road are therefore enjoined to cooperate with the traffic wardings and the construction workers on site to avoid hinderances and are also cautioned against overspending and overtaken pending the time the project will be completed.”
