Properties and goods worth millions of naira were on Tuesday consumed by a fire incident at the popular Ọgbọ Ọgwụ Market in Onitsha, Anambra.
Mr Martin Agbili, the Anambra Fire Service chief, while confirming the incident, said the cause of the inferno have not been ascertained.
Agbili also revealed that the fire incident consumed a part of the market, but what caused the fire outbreak and level of destruction have not been ascertained.
“My men are currently at the scene battling the fire,’’ he said.
