Tunde Mark, the deceased son of the former Senate President, David Mark, has been buried in his home town Otukpo, Benue State.

Tunde, 51, lost his life on October 21, 2022 in a London hospital following a reported battle with cancer for over one year.
This was revealed in a statement made available by Paul Mumeh, the media aide of Mark on Saturday in Minna.
The media aide also said that the burial rites commenced on November 9, with Service of Songs which took place in Abuja.
He also explained that the remains of Tunde was followed by family and friends to Otukpo for a wake which took place on Thursday, November 10 and buried on Friday, November 11.
He disclosed that personalities that graced the occasion included Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, the deputy Governor of the state, Benson Abonu, the Senate minority leader of the state Assembly, Sen. Philip Aduda and Sen. Abba Moro among others.
The deceased son of the former senate President was described by many of the attendees as intellectual and humble.
The statement revealed that Most Rev. Fr. Sylvester Onmonke, while delivering his sermon admonished the family to put faith in God as only Him wields the power to give and take human live.
Onmoke implored the parents, family and friends to have hope, stressing that even though, Tunde lost his life in his prime, he left behind a record of service to humanity.
The former president of the Senate’s tribute to his deceased son was read by the deceased’s younger brother, David Mark Jnr.
Tunde’s remains were buried amidst tears, at the family compound in Otukpo.
Tunde is survived by his parents, his wife, Natsu, his daughter Audrey, sisters and brothers.
