EniObanke Foundation announces free medical outreach for Kwara residents

The EniObanke Foundation for Humanity, a non-governmental organization, has announced a free medical outreach programme aimed at improving access to healthcare services for residents across Kwara State.

In a public notice issued by the foundation, the initiative targets residents of Ilorin metropolis and surrounding communities, offering a wide range of medical services at no cost. The outreach is designed to provide essential healthcare interventions and promote healthier living among the populace.

According to the schedule, the programme will be held at two different locations. The first phase will take place at the Emir’s Palace, Oja-Oba, Ilorin, on Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13, 2026. The second phase is scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2026, at Galad College of Advanced Studies, Tanke, Ilorin. Activities at both venues will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Outlined services to be provided include general medical consultations, blood pressure and blood sugar screening, eye screening, health education, and treatment of common ailments. Free medications will also be available, subject to availability, while cases requiring further attention will be referred for specialised care.

The foundation stated that qualified medical professionals will be on the ground to attend to beneficiaries, assuring quality service delivery throughout the exercise.

Describing the programme as part of its commitment to community development, the organisation urged Kwara residents, including men, women, youths, senior citizens, and children, to take advantage of the opportunity to access free healthcare services.

The initiative underscores the foundation’s efforts to bridge gaps in healthcare access and improve public health outcomes in the state.
