ElevateHer Workshop 1.0: Empowering Female Leaders Beyond the Office

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Kwara Axis, in collaboration with the Eagles Foundation for Humanity, is set to host ElevateHer Workshop 1.0: Leading Beyond Office, a groundbreaking three-day workshop designed specifically for female student leaders. Taking place from October 24th to 26th, 2024, this event aims to provide participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to expand their leadership roles beyond campus and make meaningful contributions in their communities.

The objective of the workshop is to prepare female student leaders with the skills and insights needed to excel beyond their current leadership positions, equipping them to leave a lasting impact in their respective fields. The workshop will feature comprehensive sessions focusing on leadership development, strategic planning, public speaking, and effective communication, ensuring participants acquire key skills necessary for success. There will also be sessions on entrepreneurship, career advancement, grassroots politics, lobbying, and personal branding, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and value-driven leadership.

In addition to learning practical strategies for career development and leadership, participants will engage with influential women leaders, offering them an invaluable opportunity to expand their networks. The workshop will also provide mentorship opportunities, allowing participants to foster meaningful relationships with established leaders across various sectors.

Eligibility for the workshop is open to female student leaders from tertiary institutions based in Kwara State. Participants will receive certificates of participation and will benefit from a range of post-event opportunities, including mentorship, collaborations, and community engagement.
