The Director-General of the All Progressive Congress APC campaign in Kwara State, Amb. AbdulFatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari on Monday recieved hundreds of guests at his Ilorin home for sallah celebration.
The residence of the cheiftain who landed in Nigeria over the weekend after a two-weeks long trip to Saudi Arabia for the Muslims Umrah Pilgrimage was in joyous and celebration mood.
Speaking at the event mainly attended by his loyalists, he appealed to members of the APC and Kwarans to support the newly elected officials in serving the state.
He said, “We cannot all get position at the same time. So, let us support those who are in power. From the governor to members of the state assembly.”
He further hinted on his planned empowerment programme which he said will be “starting soon” and “starting massive”.
