Nigerian Poet, Godspower Oshodin, has been chosen by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Youth Council, as a youth ambassador.
This was revealed in a letter from Mr Emmanuel Williams, President, ECOWAS Youth Council (EYC) to the appointee, on Tuesday in Abuja.
The west african organization, in the letter, described the appointee as a diligent and hardworking humanitarian.
The letter partly reads: ”His commendable works as an advocate and relentless crusader of promoting entrepreneurship for African youths was laudable.
”I am pleased to confirm that the board of the West African (ECOWAS) Youth Council on the recommendation of his young people has appointed you as a WEST AFRICA YOUTH AMBASSADOR.”
The appointee has authored a globally acclaimed book titled, ”A poet who died by his poem,” which is a combination of poetry.
The organization said it would welcome positive impact of the appointee on the organisation and region.
