Economic boost: Rep. Shagaya uplifts constituents with ‘KEKE IRORUN’ initiative
Representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Honourable Muktar Tolani Shagaya has launched the “KEKE IRORUN” initiative, aimed at fostering economic growth and tackling unemployment in the region.
Addressing the beneficiaries during the flag off of the scheme, Shagaya’s team leader, Alhaji Muftau Akanbi Oke said that the innovative program provides tricycles and essential documentation to chosen recipients, empowering them to become entrepreneurs and stimulating the local economy.
The team leader, Alhaji Muftau who doubles as the Director General of Salman Shagaya Foundation added that the “KEKE IRORUN” scheme operates on a self-sustaining model, whereby discounted payments from initial beneficiaries are reinvested to procure more tricycles for other deserving individuals within the community.
He further added that the sustainable approach ensures a continuous positive impact, propelling economic development and improving livelihoods across the constituency.
Alhaji Muftau note that by offering tricycles at reduced prices, Honourable Shagaya seeks to cultivate a sense of ownership and dedication among beneficiaries, while also alleviating financial burdens.
He concluded that the initiative creates avenues for economic progression and entrepreneurial ventures, motivating participants to seize the opportunity and transform their lives for the better.
Meanwhile, Honourable Shagaya’s team recently visited the Agbabiaka Community in Ilorin, extending heartfelt condolences and support to those affected by a recent fire incident.
