EBUN ILUMI: Kwara govt to support movie production

Kwara State Government has pledged its support for the production of a movie titled “EBUN ILUMI – THE HIDDEN TREASURES” by the organisers of Kwara Talents Harvest.

The promise was made on Wednesday when the convener of the show, Abdullahi Ibrahim Paranti (BabaAlawoGovernmentHouse) led his team on a courtesy visit to the deputy governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode Alabi.

Paranti, who praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq over the full sponsorship of the just concluded Kwara Talents Harvest, added that the youth populace is solidly behind his administration and in support of his return to office in 2023.

“Thus, it’s the right time for our Kwarans celebrities to come back home as the current government has all interests at heart,” he said.

Speaking on his crew’s preparation towards the production Ebun Ilumi, He said the new movie will showcase Kwara’s hidden treasure, adding that, “The movie will be global standard and our Kwara born actors and actresses will be featured.”

For his part, the deputy governor assured the teams that the state government is in full support of the movie as it will patronise cultural heritage of the state.

He also enumerated the achievements of the current government in the entertainment sector.
