Easter: Yahaya Seriki felicitates with Kwara christian community
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, has sent his warm greetings to Christians in Kwara State as they celebrate Easter in 2025.
In a statement released on Saturday, Yahaya Seriki congratulated Christians on the successful end of the Lenten season, saying it is a time to reflect on the importance of staying close to God through fasting and prayers.
He also praised the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kwara for promoting peace and religious tolerance across the state.
“As Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we must continue to uphold peace, unity, and religious harmony in our State of Harmony. I encourage Christians to keep praying for our leaders—President Bola Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” he said.
He wished all Christians across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara State a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration.
