Amid the poor run of form and performance of Kwara United, especially at the home front, the Technical Adviser of the team, Coach Kabiru Dogo has taken full responsibility of their goalless draw with Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.

Kwara United on Sunday dropped another point at home as the visitors from Minna, led by their Acting Technical Adviser, Maajin Muhammed held to their sword to secure their first point on the road.

Speaking after the game to newsmen, Coach Dogo berated the performance of his boys as he described their outing as one of the poor in the ongoing season.

“This is one of the bad games they have played. They are wasteful in front of goals” said the gaffer who opined that their opponents were not impressive enough to have earned a draw.

“It’s painful. This is football and there is nothing we can do. I take all the responsibility of either victory or failure because I am the coach.

Kwara United will again file out against Plateau United on Thursday in the matchday 15 of the NPFL as they hope to redeem their image.

“I know my boys have learnt their mistakes and I believe this is going to be a turning point for them.

The Plateau United game is another huge test for Coach Dogo and his boys who now have to deal with the growing discontent from the fans as the team now currently sit 14th on the log with 16 points.
