A group, Kwara Youth Center, has urged Kwarans not to panic as the state record 2 new confirm coronavirus cases, total 4.
In a statement issued by its Convener, Kayode Oyin-Zubair in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, they said the new cases exposed the need for Kwarans to observe all neccesary medical protocol, and further commended the state governor for outing mechanism in place to intensify the fight against the disease.
The statement reads in part, “We are upbeat that Coronavirus can not wage a victorious war against humanity, if our resolve is strong.
“These two new cases as announced by NCDC as traced to our dear State of Kwara beckons on us to continue to keep to all safety protocols as pronounced by health officials. Don’t be lost to myths — Covid – 19 exists!
“However, we are satisfied with everything done so far by the government on all Isolation Centers in the State. The people’s Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has invested substantially in the health sector, thereby taking it to the next level. The wind of change progressively blows across the nooks and crannies of the State.
“It behoves all lovers of progressive-Kwara to re-dedicate themselves to patriotism and help to reawaken all reactionary tendencies that, the time to rebuild is now.
“We are not only going to stamp Coronavirus out of Kwara State, we are going to come out strong with our health facilities better for service delivery.”
