Chelsea will miss out on European football for the 2023/24 campaign following a poor performance in the just concluded season.

The Blues finished 12th in the Premier League table and will miss out from Europa Conference League , Europa League and UEFA Champions League.

The last time that the team failed to qualify for the European competition was in the 2015/2016 football season.

They finished 10th in the Premier League in 2015/16, the season in which Jose Mourinho was sacked as manager for the second time, and they also failed to win a cup competition in that season.

Meanwhile, the following season 2016/2017 saw the blues winning the Premier League under Antonio Conte.

Chelsea were one of the biggest spenders in the just concluded season but their performance did not justify the investment.

Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter in the current season and yet wouldn’t have anything to show for it.
