It’s all a goalless draw between Chelsea and Liverpool on Sunday in their debut match for the new Premier league season.
An hard-fought draw for Mauricio Pochettino, who began his era at the Bridge with a renewed rivalry with Jurgen Klopp.
While both sides saw one goal apiece ruled out for offside in the first half, Chelsea by far claimed the dominance in the game and failed to utilize some chances that came their way.
Luiz Diaz opened the scoreline for the reds and just before the end of the first half, Disasi scored to level up for the blues.
The visitors also had quite some calls in the second half but were not clinical enough. The highlight of the second half was Mohammed Sallah showing a grim face while he was removed in the twilight of the encounter.
It was a heart to heart contest as Jurgen Klopp led his team out against a relatively young Chelsea squad.
The teams played out an entertaining second half without a winner and the result definitely leaves them with an impression of more work to do
