The Director of Strategy and Communications of the Gobir Organization Foundation, Mr. Charles Olufemi Folayan, has resigned from the foundation.
Charles, in a statement he personally released to the media, said he resigned from the Organization to enable him to rejoin like-minds in working towards galvanizing the energy and the strength of young people to drive the economy and governance in Nigeria.
He said, “Meaningful participation of youth and women in politics and governance is a task I am committed to, and my service is needed more in that regard at this moment in time. I have therefore decided to tender my resignation to the Gobir Organization, and I make this sacrifice for Nigerian youth because it is needed in achieving our objectives in the struggle for inclusion in governance.”
He furthered that the time spent with the Gobir Organization was very useful and fruitful, adding that appreciated the Chairman of the Gobir Organization, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, for the opportunity given.
Meanwhile, the Gobir Organization Foundation has accepted Mr. Charles Folayan’s resignation and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
