Buhari announces donation of N200m, National Honours for Amusan, other athletes

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday declared the donation of N200 million gift for Nigerian medalists who participated in various international games, including the Commonwealth Games, for being outstanding in performances.

Buhari also made a presentation of an award of recognition to world record sportswoman, Tobi Amusan.

This occurred during a reception for the Nigeria 2022 Commonwealth Contingent in State House, Abuja, the country capital.
