The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi today, admonished staffers of the Kwara Inland Revenue Service (KWIRS) to do aways from things that will not make them have peace of mind after leaving their respective offices.
According to the Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker, Sheriff Ibrahim, the Speaker made this statement after the KWIRS budget defense at the state assembly.
He charged them to lay legacies their children would be proud of.
Danladi said, “What belongs to you will surely come to you, you don’t have to do any ‘mago mago’ that will take away your peace of mind.
“Those people seated here can mislead you. Yesterday, they were Awodun’s good boys but today, Awodun is bad. They’ll say same about you when you leave too, satisfy your conscience in the cause of serving the State, Madam Shade (KWIRS Chairperson)”.
