Banks, schools, markets closed down as gunmen invade Ebonyi
Some gunmen caused confusion and tension in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, on Monday morning as they stormed the capital city and started shooting sporadically.
It was gathered that the gunmen have positioned themselves at strategic places in the capital city began to shoot sporadically around 8:50 am on Monday.
Report also has it that the gunmen commenced the invasion of the city at G-hostel area, Mechanic village, and the new market area along Abakaliki-Enugu road.
The incident has triggered the closure of banks, schools and markets in the city as people ran for their own lives.
