The Kwara State Government says it is yet to receive the second tranche of the London-Paris Club Refund promised by the Federal Government to states in the country.The clarification came through a statement issued in Ilorin on Tuesday by the state Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu.Alhaji Banu said the Federal Government is currently reconciling claims submitted by states and will inform beneficiary states once the process is completed.Stressing that the payments are in installments, Alhaji Banu said the amount to be released to the state will be made known only after the federal government completes the verification of claims.…

THE National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS) has commended the Kwara State government for releasing the sum of N50M for payment of bursaries to students of Kwara Origin in higher institutions across the country.The NAKSS Senate President, Comr.
