Arsenal have maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League table after surviving a late Tottenham Hotspur comeback to win Sunday’s North London Derby 3-2.
The Gunners’ Bukayo Saka corner-kick, which was diverted into his own net by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, gave the visitors the lead, then Saka finished off a fine counter-attack before Kai Havertz headed in a third to fly out of the blocks and took a three-goal lead in the first half.
Meanwhile, Spurs fought back in the second half, but goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung-Min were not enough to avoid defeat.
Arsenal now have 80 points with three games left and are four points ahead of Manchester City, who have two fixtures in hand.
