The Kebbi State Police Command has paraded one Bashiru Sani of Helende village in Argungu Local Government Area of the state before newsmen on Friday for being in possession of N316,000 counterfeit naira notes. The Director – General (DG), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed, has handed over foodstuff and relief materials worth millions of naira to victims of flooding in Kwara State. The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has been hopeful that the US dollar might drop to N200 following the naira’s redesign. Unknown gunmen abducted travelers on the Ikom-Ogoja Highway in Cross River on Tuesday.
