ASKOMP unveils 3-day special series to celebrate impactful life of ex-KWASU VC, Prof Akanbi

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has expressed its sadness over the passing of Prof Muhammed Akanbi SAN, the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Malete, Ilorin Emirate.

The online media organisation has sympathized with the University and citizens of the state over the death of the late legal luminary.

In a statement personally signed by the organization’s chairman, Salihu Shola Taofeek, the late erudite scholar was described as a fine and brilliant academic.

The association which houses professional online media practitioners in the State has admitted the efforts of the late sage towards the integration of online media to public relations communication media of the school.

“The death of Kwara State University, Malete Vice Chancellor, Prof Muhammed Akanbi was a rude shock to us. It’s one death too many for Kwarans because he was a good motivation for Youths, especially in area of career development.

“While we are mourning the departed Vice Chancellor of KWASU, the association condoles the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari and his immediate family over the great loss. We pray the Almighty Allah will his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.”

In honor of the late Vice Chancellor, ASKOMP is set unveil special series which were tagged: Celebrating Good Life of Prof Muhammed Akanbi SAN, on Tuesday November 22, 2022 which will feature tributes and successes of the ILORIN born prominent legal luminary and academic.
