An impressive Gunners made a last long impact on their return to the stage for the first time in six years with three first half goals sending the signal to their opponent and effectively securing the maximum three points before the half-time.
Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus were all on the scoreboard in the first half before Martin Odegaard completed the rout with 20 minutes to go.
It was a memorable night for Arsenal’s prodigy, Saka who scored in his UCL debut and braced up for the adventure in the European top club competition.
The one way traffic game at the Emirate on Wednesday is coming a few days to when Arsenal plays host to the north London neighbours Tottenham on Sunday in the Premier league.
