Some youth have taken to the street and premises of the state police headquarters to protest the death of a man who was allegedly killed by a police officer in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

The man reportedly met his end following his refusal to pay N100 bribe to the police officers along the Ugbolu-Asaba road.

The angry youth stormed the street and the headquarters of the state police command with the dead body of the victim, demanding for justice to be done on the incident.

The state police command has not reacted to the incident at the time of filing this report.

The Informant247 earlier reported that a police officer was on Wednesday April 5 murdered during a clash with commercial motorcycles (Okada riders) at Cele Bus Stop along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Lagos.

Report has it that the commercial riders also carted away three rifles belonging to police operatives.

The commercial riders who were up to 100 ran towards Mile 2 end as soon as they carried out the act.

They were reportedly brandishing big sticks, daggers, cutlasses and other harmful weapons.

Many scampered for safety to avoid being hurt by the Okada riders.

There appeared a convoy of the police officers mobilised in solidarity to overpower the riders.

The police officers who were in about six vehicles ran after the riders towards the Mile 2 end.
