The Super Eagles of Nigeria outclassed the indomitable lions of Cameroon with a 2-0 victory in the round of 16 clash of the ongoing AFCON on Saturday.
Ademola Lookman was the hero in the game as he scored a brace from each half to send the Cameroonian neighbors packing from the tournament.
The Nigerian team thought they have secured an early lead when Semi Ajayi scored in the 8th minutes but his goal was later ruled offside after VAR check.
Eagles maintained their tenacity and it will pay off when Osimhen fought off the ball from Cameroonian Defender and sets up Ademola Lookman who eventually slotted the ball past the goalkeeper.
As the game wears on, Nigeria continued to take their fair share of the possession with some goals onslaught upfront and a strong defense line at the back.
Eagles will later put the game past the Cameroonian when Calvin Bassey thrusted forward and send a cross to Lookman who against slapped it home to the admiration of the fans.
