The Group Chief Executive Officer, Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, has been reported dead.
Wigwe, died along with other five passengers on board in an helicopter crash in California near the Nevada border, United States of America on Friday.
New York Times reports that no survivors have been located as of Saturday morning, the authorities said and it’s not confirmed whether his wife or children were involved.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter crashed at around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif., an unincorporated community about 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.
Wigwe is a reputed Nigerian Banker and Entrepreneur. He is also the founder of Wigwe University.
His death also coincided with the 9th edition of Access Bank Lagos City Marathon which was held in Lagos on Saturday.
