AbdulRazaq visits family of late woman leader, vows to make Kwara hot for criminals

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has promised to make the state hot and inhabitable for criminal elements, The Informant247 Nigeria News.

He said this during a condolence visit to the family of late Mrs. Abolaji Sunday, an All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader in Koro on Monday.

It was gathered that she was shot dead by her abductors during a rescue operation.

Recalls that the deceased was one of the APC chieftains from Koro ward, kidnapped on March 16, evening between Araromi Opin and Obbo-Ile, both in Ekiti Local Government, while returning from Ilorin where they went to attend the inauguration of the state party executives.

However, the abductors were killed in the encounter and the governor commended the efforts of the security agencies to rid the state of criminals.

The governor reiterated that his administration is committed to making every nook and cranny of the state inhabitable for criminals.

He described the death of the woman as a great loss and prayed to God to bless the departed soul, and for quick recovery of surviving victims at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Speaker, state House of Assembly, Mr. Adetiba Rapheal; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Raji Rasaq; Senior Special Assistant on Security, Mr. Aliyu Muyideen; TIC Chairman, Ekiti, Mr. Kehinde Bayode, and State APC Chairman, Mr. Sunday Fagbemi, all accompanied the governor for the condolence.
