9japarrot publisher, Saeed Tijjani, honored for excellence in digital media and community impact
Saeed Tijjani, the Founder and Publisher of 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications, has received a prestigious Award of Recognition for his outstanding contributions to the digital media space and his unwavering commitment to community development.
The award was presented during the Legislative Summit organized by the National Association of Polytechnic Engineering Students (NAPES), Institute of Technology, Kwara State Polytechnic, held at the Rear Admiral Lawal Alabi Auditorium on Thursday.
Tijjani, a media strategist from Oro Kingdom, was recognized alongside other distinguished personalities including Temi Kolawole, Managing Director of Ilorin Innovation Hub; Oluwole Gabriel Afolayan, a Research Officer at the Federal Ministry of Health; and Hon. Shola Odetundun, a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly representing Irepodun Constituency.
The summit, themed “Leadership and Innovation: A Pathway to Political and Economic Advancement,” sought to inspire students by exploring the intersection of leadership and innovation as tools for societal progress.
Keynote addresses were delivered by Kolawole and Afolayan, both of whom emphasized the role of innovation in national development.
While presenting the award, Engr. Mrs. Uthman Fauziya, Director of the Directorate of Students’ Services at the Institute, praised Tijjani’s achievements in the media industry and his impact on youth and community development.
“Your contributions in this regard have not gone unnoticed. They are truly inspiring and worthy of emulation. That is what birthed this recognition,” she said.
In his acceptance speech, Tijjani expressed gratitude to the organizers and the Students’ Union Legislative Arm led by Rt. Hon. Adewara Tolulope for finding him worthy of the honor.
“This is a wake-up call for me to keep doing more in promoting innovative ideas through strategic media relationships in the digital space,” he said.
He dedicated the award to the staff and management of 9japarrot Digital Media and Communications, his principal, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, Executive Secretary/CEO of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), as well as his family, friends, and well-wishers for their continued support.
