A 24-year-old computer engineering student, Jimoh Abdulmueez, has been reported missing since Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Jimoh was last seen at approximately 7:00 pm on Thursday, Feb. 15, when he left the university campus in Malete for his home in Ilorin.

Concerns arose when he was absent on Friday, February 16th, the day of a scheduled test. Attempts to reach him via phone were unsuccessful, prompting his friends to contact his parents, who confirmed not seeing him at home.

Despite the parents’ visit to the school, Jimoh could not be located. The matter was reported to the police on Friday, February 16th, with no updates since then.

Jimoh’s mother, Mrs. Jimoh Amdalat, appeals to the public for any information about his whereabouts, urging them to call 07030889682.

When contacted, the Spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, confirmed that the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
