2027: Kwara HoR Aspirant Ayoola Fakunle Launches Nationwide Mobilisation for Tinubu’s Re-election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Amb. Ayoola Ronke Fakunle, has launched a nationwide mobilisation campaign in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the return of APC lawmakers in the 2027 general elections.

Fakunle, who serves as the National Coordinator of the APC National Assembly Legislative Aides Support Group (ANALAG), announced the initiative during a rally held in Abuja. The rally commenced at the APC National Secretariat and proceeded to the National Assembly Complex.

Speaking at the event, she said ANALAG, made up of legislative aides and supporters of National Assembly members, was established to strengthen grassroots support for President Tinubu and APC candidates across the country.

According to her, the group has set an ambitious target of mobilising at least one million supporters in each of Nigeria’s 36 states ahead of the 2027 elections.

“Our objective is to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 because of the impactful work he has been doing for Nigeria. We are equally committed to supporting our lawmakers, who have continued to serve diligently. They are our principals, and we stand firmly with them,” she said.

Fakunle, who is also the Women Leader of the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum (NASLAF), commended President Tinubu for implementing bold economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy. She, however, appealed to the Federal Government to increase investments in education, healthcare and youth empowerment to cushion the effects of the ongoing reforms.

She disclosed that ANALAG has already established coordinators across the 36 states and would begin full-scale grassroots mobilisation nationwide after concluding its Abuja activities.

Also addressing participants, ANALAG National Secretary, Mr. Mike Anibueze, said the group had officially inaugurated its nationwide campaign to secure President Tinubu’s second term and ensure the return of APC lawmakers to the National Assembly.

He noted that the organisation would leverage its extensive grassroots network to mobilise support for the Tinubu administration and APC candidates across the country, while urging the government to sustain efforts in critical sectors such as education and healthcare to improve citizens’ welfare.

A member of the group from the South-East, William Onyemaechi, described legislative aides as strategic mobilisers due to their close relationship with constituents. He urged Nigerians, particularly young people, to support the Tinubu administration, citing the removal of fuel subsidy and the push for local government autonomy as key reforms capable of strengthening the country’s future.

Onyemaechi acknowledged that some of the administration’s policies may require time to deliver their full benefits and appealed to Nigerians to remain patient.

In her remarks, Hajiya Halimat Akokhia reaffirmed ANALAG’s commitment to President Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying members were fully prepared to mobilise voters across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.

She expressed confidence in the administration’s achievements since assuming office and pledged the group’s continued support for President Tinubu and the APC.
