Tajudeen Audu and his supporters have openly declared support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Bola Tinubu ahead of the forthcoming presidential election scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
The open declaration of support was made during a press briefing which took place on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
He described the open endorsement as a product of deep political consultations and ideas of concerned stakeholders across party lines.
He explained that people across party lines have chosen to subscribe to the Tinubu/Shettima candidature for the unity of the country.
He recalled how the collective efforts of the stakeholders enabled the success of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
He also recalled how the same efforts made them record success in 2019 general elections and electoral success in Kwara State.
The group said the presidential flagbearer of the party has paid his due and deserves to be compensated for all he has done.
He added that President Muhammadu Buhari has done his best especially by building a foundation for national development.
