The Young Progressives Party (YPP) has commenced mobilization and e-registration of members in Kwara State, calling on people to come and register with the party.
In a statement issued by the Chairman of the YPP in the State, Mr. Charles Olufemi Folayan, he said it’ll start registering members from Ilorin West after a successful test run of its e-registration platform.
He said, “Our e-registration platform which is the first of its kind and was built from the scratch by a team of young members of the party, in order to give people at the grassroots in the 193 wards the opportunity to join the party without stress.
“We have also set up a team of enumerators and a monitoring committee to assist intending members, especially our fathers and mothers who might not be able to use the platform on their own.
“We are working ahead of the 2023 general elections. Our party accommodates everyone – young, old, rich and poor. We guarantee trust, Fairplay and full participation of all members.”
“We have adopted an e-registration platform which only requires voter’s card to register over the manual process. It is easily accessible, efficient, transparent, democratic and more forward-thinking. These are all attributes that YPP symbolizes. It is also part of our effort to galvanize the youth and tap into their skillsets and technology advantage to solve our societal challenges.”
Charles urged Kwaran to join them (YPP) ahead of the 2023 general election via www.joinypp.org.
