Amb. Yahaya Seriki has commended President Muhammad Buhari for the nomination of two party members from Kwara stage, describing it as a “virtuous gesture.”
Speaking on the nominations, he said “President Muhammadu Buhari has demonstrated that his love for Kwarans is improbable. It’s not everybody that remember to repay loyalty so finely, but President Muhammad Buhari has further reinstate our trust and belief in him as a man of unparalleled virtue.”
Commenting further, he called the attention of Kwarans to some sneering remarks made by cynics during the electioneering that President Muhammadu Buhari does not care about Kwarans an inch, adding that “Today, such prophets of doom have been silenced forever as the recent nominations have proven them wrong. Two ministerial nominees from Kwara State is a rare feat.”
Thanking President Muhammadu Buhari, Yahaya Seriki said, “I owe the President a debt of gratitude for looking back and deeming us fit for these positions. Kwara played a critical role in delivering the 2019 polls. But if Mr President had looked elsewhere, there isn’t much we could do.”
He congratulated the nominees and charged them to be good ambassadors of Kwara State while also charging Kwaran youths to imbibe the spirit of loyalty and resilience.
