Women abandoning husbands in Nigeria to search for money abroad – Cleric
Venerable Ekenedilichukwu Nwafor has revealed that some Nigerian women were leaving their homes and their husbands for greener pastures abroad.
The Informant247 learnt that Nwafor happens to be the vicar who’s in charge of the Church of The Pentecost, Awka, Anglican Communion.
While addressing a congregation, the cleric revealed that female professionals in nursing, medicine, and others were abandoning their marriages.
The Nigerian cleric said the women embark on the Journey without agreements with their husbands, they migrate to Canada, and other western countries in search of better life.
The Anglican pastor further said that such acts could cause break of their union and cause the children to suffer.
Nwafor revealed that broken marriages would trigger adultery, and make children become lesbians and homosexuals.
“The economic situation is harsh now, but it is not enough reason for marriages to be abandoned for materialism.
“Women should not create a vacuum in homes because of little shakes in their finances, family, and offices”, NAN quoted him saying.
