The Niger State Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has confirmed that 21 persons have sustained injuries in an auto accident along Bida-Minna road on Sunday.
The Sector Commander, Mr Kumar Tsukwam, has told newsmen on Monday in Minna that the auto crash happened at about 9:25 a.m. near Sabon Gida village in Bida Local Government Area.
He revealed that the accident affected a Range Rover which was not registered, and a Toyota Bus with registration number NSR 540 ZG.
He also revealed that twenty one persons were affected in the auto crash and all of them were seriously injured.
He also said 14 of those who sustained injuries were hospitalized to Federal Medical Centre Bida while the remaining seven persons were hospitalized to Umaru Sanda General Hospital, Bida for medical care.
The commander of the sector revealed that the accident happened when the Toyota bus lost one of its tyres and the vehicle collided with the oncoming Range Rover.
He sent message of advice to drivers to exercise patience, conduct a check on their vehicles before embarking on journey and obey rules and regulations of traffic to avoid accident.
