Woman cuts off 10-year-old girl’s finger over missing N50 that was later found

A 10 year old girl’s middle finger was reportedly chopped off by a retired customs officer, whom the girl was living with at their Oko-Afo home, along Badagry Road.

It was reported that the retired customs officer had sent the girl, Hawau, to take N200 from the N250 she kept on the fridge, to buy drug for her.

Hawau was however served what she did not bargain for, on her return, as the woman asked her for the N50 that should have remained.

The poor girl told the woman she did not pick the money.

The woman reportedly dragged the girl into her room and chopped off her middle finger with a machete.

While demanding justice for her innocent child, the victim’s mother painfully lamented that the said missing N50 was later found.

She said the woman who carried out the evil act was still boasting that she cannot be arrested by any policeman.
