Why we can’t help some ailing actors: TAMPAN President, Mr. Latin

Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, the president of the Theatre Arts and Movies Production Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, has disclosed why the body of actors in Nigeria can’t assist some ailing actors in the movie industry.

Disclosing that it had spent more than N10 million on health issues affecting actors, Mr Latin during an interview, said the association is always willing to help but alleged that it cannot help some inactive members.

He disclosed that these ill actors are most of the time out of shame avoid approaching TAMPAN for assistance but instead turn to the internet, radio or television because they are aware of their inactiveness and that the Association cannot help them.
