​Why I allowed Ayade, El-Rufai, others to answer questions at Chatham House — Tinubu

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed the reasons he chose some leaders of his party to answer questions directed to him at Chatham House in London.

Tinubu said he adopted delegated method while granting interview in London.

He said he employed the method “to show team-ship”.

Tinubu, on Monday presented his address to the Royal Institute of International Affairs, analyzing his agenda for the presidency at the Chatham House in London.

In London, Tinubu directed the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to speak on how he intends to address security issues.

He directed Dele Aleke, the Director of Strategic Communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, to speak on how he intends to address oil theft issues.

He directed Wale Edun, a former Commissioner for Finance in Lagos State, to speak on how he intends to improve the economy.

At the event with Tinubu were Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Governor of Jigawa State, Abubakar Badaru; the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; among others.

Tinubu said: “Let me demonstrate here one of those philosophies and doctrines that I believe firmly in, it is team-ship, unbreakable team. To demonstrate that, I’ll assign it to my team.”
