Westham held money-spending Chelsea to a draw
Chelsea were again left frustrated on Saturday as Westham United held them to a 1-1 draw.
Like a nemesis, Westham would have a Chelsea’s old boy, Emerson Palmieri thanked for turning in an equalizer that ultimately defined the affairs at the London stadium.
The blues looked ambitious in the early minutes of the game and their dominance paid off when Joao Felix grabbed his first goal for the team in the 16th minutes.
While the game rages on, the hosts took the stadium by storm when they scored the equalizer in the 28th minute through Palmieri’s efforts.
An unlucky Chelsea also had two of their goals disallowed via offside in the first half of the game.
For the blues, it’s now just one win in seven since the beginning of the year.
It’s another unconvincing result for Chelsea who spent over £300million last month to bolster their squad.
