The Presidency on Wednesday, claimed that Western Presidents in France have indicated their interest in meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to Dele Alake, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, said the Western leaders planned to meet with President Tinubu due to the steps he took within three weeks of assuming office as President.
Tinubu is in Paris to attend the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.
Alake said: “Mr President’s policies in the last three weeks have encouraged more foreign investors to be interested in the affairs of Nigeria in shoring up our economy.
“So many of them have indicated interest in meeting with Mr President on this trip, just upstairs now, he had a meeting on how to structure this meeting with heads of state.
“About four different Heads of State of Western nations have indicated interest in meeting with Tinubu, having a chat, and exploring possible areas of cooperation on the economy, Agriculture and other salient areas.”
