We lack power to dissolve state excos, says APC caretaker c’ttee

The All Progressive Congress Caretaker Committee says it lack the power to dissolve State Executives by virtues of Party’s Constitution, noting their core mandate is to conduct National Convention.

The committee chair, Mia Mal Buni, who is also the Yobe State Governor disclosed this on Tuesday while receiving nomination forms from APC aspirant for Ondo 2020 governorship election at Party National Secretariat, Abuja.

According to FactualTimes, Buni speaking through the Party’s Organizing Secretary, Prof Attahiru said their mandate does not dissolution of state executive committees of the party nationwide.

While responding to Oke’s claimed that Ondo State Chapter is polarized into two, Prof Attahiru said they can only mediate to settle grievances.

He hinted that The Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee has set up reconciliation team to meet Stakeholders in Ondo and Rivers States Chapter.

Buni however promised Oke and other aspirants that the committee would guided by principles of fairness, justice and transparency in handling the APC Primary.
